Install
Add TrueProof from WordPress.org, activate it, and open Settings → TrueProof.

Choose sources
Select recent WooCommerce orders, approved reviews or comments already stored in WordPress.

Choose the position and timing, then show the notification on the front page or across the site.

0:00–0:15: Install TrueProof from WordPress.org and open Settings → TrueProof. New installations keep the public widget disabled until you publish it.
0:15–0:25: Choose Real Data and WooCommerce orders. An eligible order needs processing or completed status within the selected look-back window.
0:25–0:35: Under Privacy, select Fully anonymous. Real events use “Someone” and an empty location. Upgraded installations retain their previous choice until you change it.
0:35–0:51: Check the eligible-event count, review public fields, enable notification bubbles and save. A nonzero count in this animation is illustrative; your store must supply its own eligible data.
0:51–1:04: Verify the events endpoint and storefront. The example “Someone purchased Demo Mug” illustrates the expected shape; it is not a live sales claim.
1:04–1:12: Install free and measure the effect on your own store. No conversion improvement is promised.

TrueProof reads supported events already stored on your WordPress site. During normal use without licence activation, the plugin's own code makes no third-party requests.
Entering a licence key, periodic validation while it is active, or deactivation sends a built-in request containing the licence key, home URL and requested action to wptrueproof.com. The licensing service also receives standard network metadata. Notification-source records are not included in that request.
Visitors may see: “Someone” with no location by default, or a name/location only if the site owner deliberately selects that option, plus activity and relative time.
Built-in sources do not include: email-shaped name values, full addresses or order totals.
Performance: events are cached for three minutes and served through the WordPress REST API using vanilla JavaScript.
Privacy control: fully anonymous, shortened-name and full-name modes are available; email-shaped name values are always suppressed.

Does the plugin send notification-source data elsewhere?

What if no events appear in Real Data Mode?

Pro is €49 billed annually and renews automatically until cancelled. Applicable EU VAT may be added at checkout. Email support before the next billing date to stop renewal; the original paid purchase has a 14-day refund period.
